The Finnish Documentary Guild organizes a seminar on distributing documentaries and reaching the audience in Finland and abroad. The seminar will bring together representatives of channels, experts in distribution as well as producers with case studies to discuss new possibilities for documentary filmmakers and producers. The seminar will offer a chance to hear about the latest developments regarding distribution possibilities on domestic and international platforms. The seminar is organized in collaboration with the DocPoint – Helsinki Documentary Film Festival and Nordic Culture Point, as well as with the support of AVEK.

Guy Bisson / Ampere Analysis
Guy Bisson is the Executive Director at Ampere Analysis. He has more than 25 years’ experience as a leading entertainment market analyst with a specialisation in the global television business. He is a regular speaker and moderator at many of the World’s leading entertainment business conferences, a frequent media commentator and author of numerous reports and research articles on the business and strategy of the television industry with a particular recent focus on content trends and developments impacting the streaming TV and direct-to-consumer markets. Guy previously led the television research practice at Screen Digest and IHS Markit and is a co-founder of Ampere Analysis, a London-based research company with a focus on television and new media that is combining, for the first time, big data analytics, consumer research and industry analysis.

Ove Rishoej Jensen / Paradiddle Pictures
With over 16 years of experience in the international documentary sector, Ove Rishøj Jensen has an extensive network within the industry. He gives lectures and run workshops about script writing, project development, international financing, co-production, impact, outreach and distribution.
Since 2011 he has worked for the Swedish production company Auto Images as Producer and Outreach Manager, which he continues to do. In 2019 he launched his own company for documentary training and consultancy, entitled Paradiddle Pictures. He collaborates with partners like IDFA, Fresh Pitch China, Dix in Vitro, Mediterranean Film Institute, Nordisk Panorama and many others.
From 2003 to 2019 Ove Rishøj Jensen worked for EDN – European Documentary Network. He has a master degree in film studies, with additional studying of cultural journalism and humanistic computer informatics.

Žofie Strachotová / Artinii
Žofie works as a Head of Acquisitions in Artinii. She graduated from Arts Management and studied production at FAMU. She worked as a production manager during One World Documentary Film Festival, organizing screenings for schools and coordinating year-round activities of the program and as a producer / production manager at various events and festivals such as IDFF Ji.hlava festival, United Islands music festival, Tribute to Václav Havel, Metronome Festival Prague, Association of Czech Cinematographers Awards, etc. She has been part of dok.incubator (documentary rough-cut workshop) since 2015, firstly as a Head of Production and continued after one year as a Program manager.
